SUIT CARDS
Memory
Nature
Void
Emotion
Corporeal
The five Suit Decks (Nature, Void, Memory, Emotion, and Corporeal) represent the internal responses, personal resources, bodily states, and psychological dynamics of the Travelers as they navigate the concentric tracks. Unlike the external, macro-level events driven by the Fate Deck, suit cards give players direct agency—allowing them to manage burdens, gain hope, alter movement, and interact with other Travelers.
ESKELETOS features custom card backs combining intricate 19th-century-style Gothic tracery with bold, central suit icons. Rendered in stark monochrome line art over atmospheric violet, each card back acts as a visual threshold into Memory, Emotion, Nature, Corporeal Form, and the infinite Void.
Corporeal Form- Influences from our physical being
Emotion- Influenced by our inner world
Memory - Influences from the past
Void - Influences of the larger universe
Nature - Influence from our physical surroundings
FATE AND LIMBO CARDS
The Fate and Limbo cards are designed with the same gothic tracery and variations as well as the purple sun core. These decks include the pivotal moments in ESKELETOS where personal agency intersects with cosmic necessity. Distinct from the five core suit decks, these cards command immediate focus on the board.
The Fate Deck represents macro-level, uncontrollable events and cosmic forces acting upon all Travelers as they traverse the concentric rings. Unlike suit cards—which represent internal responses, physical states, memories, and emotional coping mechanisms—Fate cards embody external circumstances beyond player agency.
Limbo - Influences in the "in between" realm
Fate - Macro level events
