Packing up my old studio (What’s left of it after the hurricane) and finding black paper and my barely used colored pencil set.

I thought it would be a fun challenge to draw 40 of these squares before I turn 40, but it took a lot less time than I thought.

I saw some folks on IG doing surrealist drawings using stream of consciousness processes - It unlocked my brain.

Prismacolor pencils are my favorite. I also really like drawing on black cardstock, it makes me think about the colors differently.
